Shandong Limao Tong was invited to participate in the fourth session of the Qilu Qilu Lecture Hall, which aims to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between Shandong and the ASEAN region and build a more solid foundation for the economic cooperation between the two sides. Many important guests were invited to the event, including Li Xingyu, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Overseas Chinese Federation and Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; Tan Sri Datuk Seri Lim Yuk-tang, President of China-Asean Business Association and Chairman and President of Malaysia Farin Holdings; Shandong Talent Development Group Co., LTD. Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, general manager Zhang Zhuxiu. They will work together to promote cooperation and development between Shandong and the ASEAN region.
In his speech, Li Xingyu, vice chairman of the Chinese Federation of Overseas Chinese and Secretary of the Party Group and chairman of Shandong Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, said that since its inception, the Overseas Chinese Gathering Qilu Qilu Great Church has been committed to promoting exchanges and cooperation between overseas Chinese and Shandong, and building a communication platform between overseas Chinese and Shandong enterprises. This event, we invited important guests from Malaysia and the ASEAN region, aiming to strengthen the economic, trade, cultural and people-to-people exchanges between Shandong and the ASEAN region, and better play the role of overseas Chinese as a bridge and bond in the economic cooperation between the two places; Tan Sri Datuk Seri Lim Yutang, chairman and president of Malaysia Farin Holdings, said that Shandong and the ASEAN region have great potential for cooperation in the economic field. As one of the most important trading partners of China, ASEAN provides a broad market space and opportunities for the international development of Shandong enterprises. He encouraged Shandong enterprises to actively participate in multilateral cooperation mechanisms such as the Belt and Road Initiative and RCEP, and jointly create a new situation of cooperation; Zhang Zhuxiu, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of Shandong Talent Development Group Co., LTD., said at the event that the group will continue to play its own advantages and actively participate in the cooperation and exchange between Shandong and the ASEAN region, providing strength for further promoting the cooperation between enterprises in the two places.
During the event, NOORMAD DAZAMUSSEIN BIN ISMAIL, Customs Counsellor, Embassy of Malaysia in Beijing; Feng Wenliang, President of Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Thailand and President of RCEP Business Association, and Dr. Ma Yingxin, Director of International Department of Dezhou University and Executive director of ASEAN Studies Center, and other speakers introduced the customs and business environment of Malaysia, Thailand and ASEAN in detail, building a better platform for Shandong enterprises and ASEAN enterprises to communicate. The fourth session of Qilu Qilu Lecture Hall was held smoothly, and the guests had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the local customs and business environment of Malaysia, Thailand and ASEAN region. This has played a positive role in promoting the cooperation and development between Shandong enterprises and the ASEAN region, and laid a solid foundation for the economic exchanges between the two places.
Shandong Limao Tong, as a cross-border trade service enterprise in Shandong Province, will continue to actively participate in such cooperation and exchange, and contribute to the further cooperation between Shandong Province and the ASEAN region. We look forward to further deepening mutual understanding and promoting mutual benefit and common development of the two economies through such exchanges and cooperation.
